Martin Debenham's sculptures exhibited in the courtyard and the gallery are constructed from surgical grade stainless steel wire. They are a delight to see and feel. They give an illusion of being solid yet they clearly are not. The illusion goes further, they look delicate yet they are immensely strong. They are static yet they move. They are curvaceous and sensual, modern yet classical. they fill a space but leave the light. The craftsmanship is a joy to see.
These sculptures can be placed indoors or out depending on the plinth material. They will have an outdoor life of several generations!
There will only be 8 or 9 pieces. By their very nature they are slow in the making. If you want one be quick!
Exhibition Start originally on April 10th and ends May 28th but some of the work will not be arriving until Wednesday 14th when the site will be updated.
